Mark S. Kapocius, M.Ed., J.D.
Director of Human Resources & General Counsel
 

The Director of Human Resources & General Counsel is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the District's employment practices, including the hiring/termination process, compensation, benefits administration, handbook development and administration, and assisting in the supervision and evaluation of employees.  The Director further provides legal counsel to the Superintendent, Board of Education, administrators and other agents of the School District.

Mark, a former middle and high school counselor, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his graduate and law degrees from Marquette University.  His experience includes working for the Whitefish Bay (twice), Wauwatosa, Elmbrook, and Germantown school districts.  He has served as the Municipal Judge in the Village of Greendale since 2008.
